Java is our Chocolate Stud. He was born June 26, 1996. He is a
thick 95 lbs. He has a large blocky head, short snout, thick chest,
thick fur and tail, nice muscle tone, and medium height. His x-rays
on Hips and Elbows rated with OFA at Good. His eye's have
been tested and has his certificate with CERF. He has also been
DNA'ed with AKC. He has a certificate for "Canine Good
Citizen" with AKC.
My 10 year old daughter at the time entered two AKC Show
events in Placerville. They won First Place in the Labrador
Retriever Novice Dogs and Second Place in the Labrador
Retriever Veteran for 7 years or older dogs. She showed with the
adults instead of joining the youth group so we were very excited
for them. If we had the time to enter more shows with him I am sure
they would have done quite well together in getting titles on Java.
He is great with little kids. My kids would sit on him and try to ride
him when they were little. He loves to sit and be petted for hours
and he's great in the house. His total focus is on people.
He has been studded out over a dozen times now. Everybody
loves his body structure. In his background some of the titles are,
Champion, Companion Dog, Companion Dog Excellent, and
Junior Hunter. There is also allot of OFA's in his background.
